What I discovered at girls camp

I have always liked listening to music, but I am not one of those people who has a ton of music or even knows who sings the songs. After spending 3 days in the wilderness with a bunch of 12-18 year old girls, I have discovered that I am a Hannah Montana fan. I know who Hannah Montana is, but haven't ever watched her shows or movies. I guess because I don't have kids in the above mentioned age group. Anyway, they played a lot of Hannah Montana songs (The Climb was one of my favorites) at camp and I am now officially on the band wagon. When "The Climb" started, I turned to my friend Aubrie and said, "THIS is Hannah Montana?" In between singing every word, she assured me it was and I said, "I will have to tell Tyler that's what I got out of girls camp this year, I am now a Hannah Montana fan." If anyone is reading and freaking out about playing non-church music at camp, and wondering what kind of leadership was with these poor girls, keep in mind, our girls camp was in Blanding this year with a branch from Bluff. Regular rules just don't apply.

How funny! I actually like her too however I only really know her theme song from the show from watching it on Saturday mornings...ha! Way to go on finding yourself at girls camp.

It is a sad day! Come on Amanda, Hannah Montana? I know I've played way better music for you and you just think I'm crazy.

I love Hannah Montanna!! Hoe Down Throw Down is this year's clogging dance. Way fun!! However she is kinda skanky and Jared hates her:)

I can't believe your girls get MUSIC at camp. You are a different world! Jen loaded Mylie music on my iPod and suprisingly I like to run to it, too. Anything can happen.

I am also a Hanna Montana (Mylie Cyrus) fan so i think it is completely fine that you are too. I mean heck if people as cool as us like her, then she must be cool!
