Calvin rode the bus for the first time Tuesday. His teachers and my dad finally talked me into it (after 4 months) because Calvin would want to get on the bus with the other kids after school. I was weary about it, but he seems to really like it. Look how proud he looks of himself getting off the bus. I guess I have to let him grow up sometime, right?
Hadlee had parent's day at dancing and Tyler got to go this time. He did a great job taking pictures. I think Julia tells them to stick their tongues out like that. Who can play a really good air guitar without their tongue hanging out of their mouth?
Can you imagine anything more yummy than gluten free, dairy free, soy free, sugar free brownies and ice cream? I am really not sure Calvin can. The rest of us passed on the brownies (they were not good), but the ice cream wasn't half bad.

Tyler was watching an Elmo DVD with Calvin when Calvin went into his room and grabbed Elmo. He held him and danced with him for the whole video.

Your kids are so adorable. I love how Hadlee is pointing her toes, she is a natral. And as always, Calvin cracks me up. Thats awesome he rode the bus, I bet he felt so big.
How fun...My kids want to ride the bus so bad...not till Jr. High! Where are the pictures of you on parent dancing day? Those brownies prob would have been better with salted butter for sure. Oh and we would love to get together any time!
I was the same way about the bus! I bet he loves every second of it. Remember - the probability of something happening is extremely low!!! I can't get over how cute Hadlee is. She even looks like a professional the way her feet are positioned. SO CUTE!!!!
Those brownies sound disgusting. Anyway...that is pretty cool that you guys might be going to BYU Hawaii. It really is awesome over there. I think it would be so fun to live there for a couple of years as long as you knew you were coming back sometime!
CUTE!
I don't know if I would let my kids ride the bus. I am what they call "too over protective" But I guess that comes with the territory of my job. Ryan gets mad at me. I will have to give in some day. Calvin and Hadlee are so cute though!!!
I can just see Calvin's smile over the bus ride. Sounds like a fun week.
You guys have been busy! Cute photos!
Those brownies sound delicious... Or not. But Calvin looks like an excellent brownie modeler, regardless.
Our school is about 2 minutes away, driving time. I have to load up all 3 kids in the ol' minivan just to take Drew to school and pick him up. I would be so grateful for a bus ride. :) I'm sure he'll be great! And the brownies do sound delish. mmmm
I love the new theme song. It coordinates so well with this post. :) What blogging genious.
Hadlee can not get any cuter... and Calvin is giving her a run for her money. :) I just love those two!!
...and I'm noticing that there are a lot of Jen/Jennys already commenting. This is the awesome one. {Just to keep us all straight.}
You're a sweetheart, Amanda. Thanks for the comment, it's good to hear from you. It's crazy we live so close to each other and never see each other. It will be sad to go, but I'm ready! Stay in touch, I added you as a friend on my blog so I will check in on you.
